TEXT

Little "Blue" Peep
Jeffrey Cobb

Little Bo Peep had lost her sheep, and didn't know where to find them;
They ran away, not a word did they say, leaving Bo Peep so blue.
Little Bo Peep had lost her sheep, and needed some help to find them;
she called the police, they went searching for fleece, but Bo Peep was still feelin' blue.

Hey Bo! Who me?
We think we have found your sheep!
They're singing on stage, they're the latest craze, in fact they're not half... baaahd!

We worked so hard for many a year to find success in our singing career.
We used to sing only opera but now everything's changed since we heard the blues!

Baa baa black sheep have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full!
And we sing: hoo oo hoo hoo oo oo!

Mary had a little lamb, poor thing, was quite tone deaf.

Little Bo Peep had lost her sheep, but now everything's all right!
Little Bo Peep had lost her sheep, now she joins them on stage ev'ry night
Bo Peep quit her day gig now they've hit it big and that is the true story of Bo Peep!
