TEXT
Text adapted from Zechariah 9:9, Luke 19:41-44, and John 12:13-15
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest!
Blessed is He, that comes in the name of the Lord!
As it was foretold, long ago.
Rejoice O daughter of Zion!
Shout in triumph Jerusalem!
See, your King comes unto you; bringing salvation;
He is righteous, yet He is humble, riding on the foal of a lowly donkey.
As Jesus rode through the gates of Jerusalem, He wept, and said:
If you, even you, had known on this day, what would bring your salvation.
But now it is hidden from your eyes.
The day is coming when your enemies will destroy you, and your people; they will leave no stone unturned.
All this will happen, because you did not recognize the coming of your Lord, the coming of your Salvation!
