The Lesson of the Lark (Narrator, Soloists, Chorus, Jazz Orchestra) This new multi-movement concert work, written to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of Women's Voting Rights, contains a powerful message calling for gender equity. The work takes inspiration from the language of Jazz - including elements of Swing, Blues, Bossa Nova, Gospel, Salsa, and improvisation. Available for narrator, soprano and mezzo-soprano soloists, and SATB or SSA chorus; or, narrator, soprano, mezzo-soprano, and tenor soloists. |
