Greetings everyone - I hope this finds you safe, and healthy. I know that the COVID-19 pandemic has deeply affected everyone's lives. Things we took for granted - singing in large groups, making music, performing - aren't currently possible for us. In this time of isolation and quarantine, I was desperate to find a way to connect with my singers. So, I revamped an arrangement I had written pairing "How Can I Keep From Singing" with "Amazing Grace," adding another verse and instrumental accompaniment. Using this new arrangement, we created a virtual choir featuring members from several Northwestern Michigan College ensembles. The experience was enriching and healing for all of us. I hope you are able to find a way to remain connected with your fellow choristers. Be well, and keep singing!
